I am Xhorxhina Bami, from Tirana, the capital city of Albania. For those of you who don’t know Albanian, my name is pronounced as “Georgina” in English, but is written with the Albanian double letter “Xh”. Anyway, this is a blog where I am mostly writing about my inner self, meaning my feelings, thoughts, doubts and so on. Since I am not a celebrity, these are not important to people, and probably you might think: “Why should I care?” or “Why should I bother reading what this girl has in her mind?” I don’t blame you, I would have thought the same, but writing is one of the most important things in my life. I write about everything (when I don’t have a writer’s block obviously), from the lamp in my bedroom to the death of a loved one, and some of my writings, those in English, I decided to finally post on a blog on my own a couple of days after I have written them or immediately.
You will find here the “secret” emotions of a girl in college by reading what is inside her perplexed mind.

I don’t know whether it is common in Albania, but it sure is very very unique.
People usually read to understand the person, the story they want to convey and may be in the process connect with them, discuss or take it to a next step.
And I am completely on board with you on the love for writing.
